Every question on your mind

From visas to company formation, payment to refunds: the questions we hear most, answered.

General

Who is Balivizem and what do you do?

Balivizem is a Turkish consultancy with a physical office in Bali, active for 2.5 years (PT BALIVIZEM BALIKEYS GROUP, NIB 0403260107415). We provide end-to-end support for visa and KITAS applications, PT PMA company formation, tax and accounting, villa and real estate consulting, and relocation to Bali. Legal work is handled by our in-house lawyers, and our Indonesian staff speak Turkish.

How does the process work?

1) We hold a short call to choose the right visa or company type. 2) You purchase the service in our shop. 3) Within 2 business days of payment confirmation a consultant is assigned to your file. 4) You upload your documents; your consultant reviews them and tells you if anything is missing. 5) We submit the official application and you follow each stage on your application page and by email. 6) The approved document is delivered to your 'My Visas' page.

Which languages do you work in?

We work in Turkish, English and Indonesian. Our Turkish-speaking local team accompanies you at the immigration office, notary and police office, and we translate contracts and official documents between Turkish, English and Indonesian.

Where is your office and what are your hours?

Our office is at Jalan Gunung Soputan No. 1A, Pemecutan Kelod, Denpasar Barat, Bali 80119, Indonesia. We work Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00 Bali time. WhatsApp: +90 850 346 81 13, email: [email protected].

Visas and KITAS

Which visa types do you offer?

Our shop includes: B1 Tourist & Business Visa (e-VOA, 30 days) and its extension; C1 Single-Entry Tourist Visa (60 days) and its extension; D12 Pre-Investment Visa (1 or 2 years, multiple entry); Investor KITAS (2 years); Work KITAS (1 or 2 years); Family KITAS (1 or 2 years); E33G Digital Nomad KITAS (1 year) and E33F Retirement KITAS (1 year). Current prices are shown in the shop.

What is the difference between the B1 (e-VOA) and the C1 tourist visa?

The B1 (e-VOA) is a 30-day single-entry visa for tourism, family visits and business meetings, extendable once for another 30 days in Bali. The C1 is a 60-day single-entry tourist visa that can be extended; it requires a bank statement for the last 3 months showing at least USD 2,000. Neither visa allows you to work in Indonesia.

What is a KITAS and who can get one?

A KITAS is a limited-stay residence permit that lets you live in Indonesia legally long term. It is available to company-owning investors (Investor KITAS), employees of an Indonesian company (Work KITAS), spouses and children of a KITAS holder (Family KITAS), remote workers employed abroad (E33G Digital Nomad) and eligible retirees (E33F). Our KITAS services include the multiple exit re-entry permit (MERP) and delivery of the electronic KITAS card (e-KITAS).

What are the requirements for the digital nomad (E33G) and retirement (E33F) visas?

For E33G you must show remote work for an employer or clients abroad and your income for the last year, plus health insurance covering your stay and a bank statement with at least USD 2,000. For E33F you need proof of at least USD 3,000 monthly pension or regular income, health insurance, a rental contract in Bali and a signed statement that you will not work in Indonesia (we prepare the form). We check your eligibility before applying.

How long does a visa take? Can it be expedited?

It depends on the visa type and the workload of the authorities. Typical flow: initial call and document collection 1–2 days, application preparation and submission 3–5 days, then the official approval process. The clock starts once your documents are complete. For urgent cases our Express Visa service prepares your file with priority, books the biometrics appointment first and submits through the fast-track channel.

Do you guarantee that my visa will be approved?

No. Visa, KITAS and permit decisions are made solely by Indonesian Immigration and the relevant authorities. We commit to submitting your application correctly, completely and on time, which is why we check your documents carefully and never recommend applying for an unsuitable visa type.

My visa is about to expire. What should I do?

Extensions for the B1 and C1 visas are available in our shop; we handle the extension application, the biometrics appointment and the immigration office visit. For visas obtained through us, the system sends you reminders 60 and 30 days before expiry and your consultant prepares a renewal offer.

Documents

Which documents do I need for a visa application?

Most applications need: a colour scan of your passport (valid for at least 6, 18 or 30 months depending on the visa, with at least 2 blank pages), a photo on a white background, a return or onward ticket and your accommodation address in Bali. Depending on the type we also ask for a bank statement (at least USD 2,000), CV, proof of income, health insurance, apostilled marriage/birth certificates or company documents. Each product page lists its required documents.

Which documents are required for a Family KITAS?

The applicant's passport (valid for at least 18 months for 1 year, 30 months for 2 years) and photo; an apostilled marriage certificate for a spouse or apostilled birth certificate for a child; the sponsor's passport and KITAS (or KTP ID card and KK family card for an Indonesian spouse) and the sponsor's address in Bali. If you are already in Indonesia, your current visa and entry-stamped passport page are also needed.

Which documents are required for a Work KITAS?

Passport scan, photo, diploma with English translation, reference letters showing at least 5 years of experience, an up-to-date CV and an employment contract or job description. For the sponsoring company we need its NIB, deed of establishment (Akta Pendirian) and tax number (NPWP). Our service includes the RPTKA manpower plan, the work permit and the foreign worker levy (DKP-TKA).

How do I send my documents? What if something is missing?

After payment you upload documents for each person on the 'My Applications' page. Our passport scanner fills in your details from a passport photo. If your consultant finds a missing or incorrect document, you get a notification and email with the reason and upload the new file to the same application. The processing time pauses until the missing document is provided.

Company formation

What do I need to set up a company (PT PMA) in Bali?

Three proposed company names of three words each, in order of preference (e.g. BALIVIZEM BALIKEYS GROUP); a description of your business activities (up to 6 business lines, e.g. hospitality); passport scans, photos, emails and phone numbers of all shareholders, directors and commissioners; the shareholding structure; and bank statements for the last 6 months. If a shareholder is a company, its incorporation and authorisation documents are also required.

What is included in the company formation package?

Pre-formation consulting and structure planning, selection of KBLI business codes, company name reservation, the notarial deed of establishment (Akta Pendirian), Ministry of Law approval (SK AHU), company tax number (NPWP), Business Identification Number (NIB) via OSS, basic business licences, help opening the company bank account and Turkish-speaking local support at the notary and authorities. A virtual office (official company address for 1 year) is offered as a separate service.

How long does company formation take?

Standard formation takes about 3–4 weeks; the full process including residence permit and bank account takes about 6 weeks on average. For urgent cases our Express Company Formation service books the notary and prepares the deed with priority and fast-tracks the SK AHU, NPWP and NIB steps.

Who handles accounting and tax after the company is set up?

With our 12-month Accounting and Tax Consulting service we handle monthly bookkeeping, monthly tax filings, the quarterly investment activity report (LKPM) and the annual corporate tax return. We also offer personal tax number (NPWP) and Coretax registration for directors and the annual personal tax return (SPT Tahunan).

How much capital do I need to start a business in Bali?

For small ventures, annual budgets starting from about USD 15,000–25,000 can be enough. The most important factors for investing in Bali are the right location and the right business model. We help you decide with regional market analysis and an ROI report.

Payment and refunds

Which payment methods do you accept? Is card payment secure?

We accept credit/debit cards, bank transfer, SWIFT and cash at our office. Card payments are processed by our licensed payment provider and your card details are never stored on our systems. Card payments are confirmed instantly and your application opens right away. For bank transfer and SWIFT, upload your receipt and processing starts once our finance team verifies it.

What do the prices include? Will I get an invoice?

Each product page lists what is and is not included; our visa products include sponsorship, application preparation, document checks and the government fee. After payment, your invoice is emailed to you and can be downloaded from 'Payments and Invoices' in your account. Flights, accommodation and the Bali tourist levy are not included.

What is your cancellation and refund policy?

Refund terms depend on the service: • Visa, KITAS and other services (e.g. local driving licence): If you have not uploaded any document for your application yet, the full amount is refunded. Once documents are uploaded, your file is put into processing and no refund is possible. • Company formation (PT PMA, express formation, virtual office, KBLI and address changes): No refund after payment is confirmed. • Accounting, tax and consulting services: No refund after payment is confirmed. Valid refunds are made within 14 days of receiving your request, to the card used for payment and in the same currency. You can request a refund from 'My Orders' or by email. See the Distance Sales Agreement on our Contracts page for full terms.

What happens if my application is rejected?

If the rejection is caused by our or our partner's error, we re-submit your application once at no extra cost. No refund is made once your documents have been uploaded, including rejections caused by incorrect or missing information or documents, a past immigration violation, a blacklist record or the authority's discretion.
